40plus, the 454's and 480's come with a recoil pad, the carbines come with a "dished" butt plate and the rifles come with a cresent butt plate.  I ordered a 454 butt stock for my 44 mag to take some of the sting out of the 44's.  The kids and I have gone through several boxes of shells at a time with our rossi's, and the kick can get to ya after a hundred or more rounds wearing a T-shirt.  DP   OOOOOPPPS!  Well, it seems I'm behind the times.  No more 480?  Only model with a butt pad listed was the 454 with a round barrel?  Sorry for my mis-info.  DP
