may get a used 36
« on: February 13, 2010, 01:31:29 PM »
I ran into the store the other day and saw a used 36, its and older one NON +P
the price is 370.00
It seems to lock up really nice, doesnt have any real wiggle, and not much of a ring if any on the cylinder.

This would be my first, and I love these, just didnt want to spend the big price tag to get the new classic model for well over 600.00

Is this a good price?  I really dont know, I know about as much about smiths as I do about astrophysics.

Any advise befor I try and make a deal?

Dave

I like mine.  It's nickle plated & I bought it for $100.00 NIB.

In the 21st century $100 is a giveaway. A 36 in nice condition could easily bring $370. Local conditions will vary a lot. $450 in CA, $250 in AZ or TX. I would recommend to get it before the money becomes worthless.
