Wisconsin Wolf Pic
« on: February 13, 2010, 05:27:16 AM »
Taken at the limits of my little camera's capability.  When I looked through my binoculars, I could see the wolf's tail was only about a foot long.

Nice try jcn59! You're just trying to get guys riled up. Everyone knows there's only a couple wolves in the entire state and the chance of actually seeing them is slim to none.......for crying out loud, the DNR told us so!!   :o

Skunk,

Shovel, shovel yourself.  The ground is froze hard as a rock.

If you noticed, this wolf appears to be alive.   There is a house 300 yards to the west of the wolf.  Only a complete idiot would post a pic of a wolf they shot in Wisconsin.  I don't qualify.

The first pic here is what a dog running away from a wolf would look like.  The second pic is some deer tracks along a frozen creek bed about 3 miles east of the wolf picture.

Just kidding about the dog running away from wolf.

Little too much coffee this morning, JCN59? I'm not advocating that you shoot the damn thing. I'm just saying...

Lighten up...be happy...;)

Second pic has an awful lot of deer tracks. Wish I had tracks like that where I hunt.

The new clear cuts are getting lots of attention from the deer what with 15-20 inches hard snow on the ground here.

The deer were more spread out during the deer seasons.  I haven't seen a deer during the nine day season since 2007, then just one buck on the fifth day, which I killed at five feet.  I only hunt the big tracts of public land.
