Found something new/different
« on: February 05, 2010, 10:39:15 AM »
I found a CZ50 in 32acp at allans armory.  It looks decent and i figure it would go nicely with my cz52/cz70.  I figure the misses would like the cz50 too.  These are still affordable. If i was going to carry a back up pistol thios would be it.  Does anyone have a CZ50 in 32acp???

BTW;  The CZ50 is a C&R

These were $245.  Mine is the bottom one on the list at;
 www.allans-armory.com/  in the CZ section.  I post pics soon.

It came and its awesome.  The CZ50 even has the double action on the first shot feature too.  I like that rather than carrying it cocked n locked.  I think its much safer.

I have a CZ 50. My biggest complaint is that if I load more than 5 rounds in the magazine the gun will not chamber a round. It crashes into the feed ramp and jams. I have installed the Wolf extra power mag springs, bought two new mags, cut a slight radius on the front of the mags, and tried different ammo, all to no avail. It is a great little pistol, and very accurate with its fixed barrel, but mine is only a 5+1 for now. I'm not too upset because I only paid $100 for it at a local pawn shop, and it is very safe to carry since you can engage the safety even with the hammer down.

I got a cheap Ace IWB holster sized for most .32 autos that fits it like a glove, and place this into my back right pocket of my jeans for walking around the house or working outside. Great gun, just can't fully load the mags.

Also, does anyone know where to find a new recoil spring for these little guns? I would like to replace mine, but haven't found where to buy them.

These are awesome pistols from the czech/CZ people.

I carry my other CZ's with the double action first shot with them just chambered with the hammer in the down position but its really not all the way down there is a space between the hammer face and the firing pin.  I think its very safe to carry this way.  Much better than cocked and locked.  There is no way the hammer can be forced to hit the firing pin unless you pull the trigger.

Does wolf springs carry the CZ50 recoil springs???  I would believe if its not chambering the rounds its the lack of force of the recoil spring.  I wonder if we can use the CZ83 recoil spring?  I'll check into this i have extra cz83/82 recoil springs.
