Hello fellow Archers,

Well I have to thank you folks. I did a bit of researching and fun-reading here in the crossbow forum, and I ordered a new crossbow today. I'm pretty excited. I've always had a fascination with crossbows, but when it came time to being able to afford one, I always ended up buying a new rifle instead.
I've been wanting to hunt the deer archery season for a long time, but my old worn out shoulder makes it hard to pull a compound bow. Not impossible, but very uncomfortable. I can get a crossbow hunting permit, so I decided to get a crossbow. My criteria was to buy a good quality, entry level setup, that had an excellent mechanical cocking system. So here's what I got: (The hat sealed the deal for me

)

It's suppose to shoot at around 300 fps, have a Draw Weight of 175 lbs., with 84 ft/lbs of Kinetic Energy. Also ordered the Progressive Dampening Package that is supposed to reduce noise and vibration, which if I understand correctly, will slow the bow down by a few fps:

The dealer had a nice Mossy Oak Breakup, Soft Case, made by Allen, so I picked that up too.
I've heard and read good reviews about the Tenpoint line, especially about their ACUdraw system. I figured it would also be just as accurate as the other brands. At least it won't likely spray arrows out like Patriot Missiles hunting down SCUDS.

So, did I do OK? I bought it from a local dealer that specializes in archery, so if I have any tech problems, I can probably take those to him. But, do you folks have any advice, comments, recommendations, critiques, reviews, horror stories, success stories, anything? I'm all eyes (to read).

Thanks.
