Is the older Snarling Cougar frame strong enough for a 209x50 ML bbl,it's a G2 bbl, will it fit or does it need a little persuading??

The T/C factory muzzleloading barrels have a pin attached to the bottom of the barrel lug to keep it from being mounted on a orginal contender frame. Some people choose to remove said pin and use the barrel on orginal frames. Which will void the warranty from T/C. I have read that the orginal contenders would have a lot of problems with the blowback from the muzzleloading barrels. I have a .50 cal muzzleloading barrel that works real good for me but I have it on a G2 frame.

Dear Clean;
Nothing will round out your collection, another will catch your eye.
I have been weak nine times, plus an extra frame.
