« on: January 26, 2010, 04:44:16 PM »
i just bought a used condor1 o/u and it came with two chokes.   i am new to the o/u thing.  the one choke has 3 groves on it and the other has one.   can anyone tell me what that means?  is one a full and the other an open choke?   thanks.

Sounds like browning chokes, one is full and 3 is modified, 4 for Improved.

I believe they are owned by Beretta/Benilli so more likely the coorelate to whatever Beretta's marking system is.

GB is correct. The more notches the more open the choke.

I had one of the Steoger SxSs. The chokes were threaded the same as the ones for my Mossberg 500. WinChokes work great.
