Crimson Trace on a 686
« on: January 23, 2010, 03:35:45 AM »
Morning Gentlemen ,

I just put Crimson Trace grips on my 2 1/2" 686.  Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. (with the grips, the revolver is almost 25 years old) Of course I went to the basement and set up a target at the far end (about 35' ) and played with it.  Seems like they should work fine.  My only concern is , upon initially gripping it , as in pulling it from a drawer ( night stand) or unholstering it .....I activate the laser.  It does have a master switch, but I certainly don't want to be fumbling with a tiny switch in the heat of an ugly moment.  Anybody else use CT grips or have any suggestions.  I know , lots and lots of practice........other than that.   Thanks,  irold
