sound quality on calls???

I have been looking at the various duck and goose calls on the market and noticed that most of the companies offer the same calls in polycarbonate and acrylic with a large increase in price to get acrylic. Is there a noticable difference in sound quality with acrylic over the poly? Any insights would be great.

i love buying new duck calls, my favorite acrylic call is the duck commander- commander n chief. no matter how hard you blow it or how cold it gets it has never locked up. my favorite sounding call is a $30 echo call. with a little work you can make most calls call ducks.
