haiti in the news made me smile for a change
« on: January 17, 2010, 01:06:04 PM »
They were showing haitians on the news  getting aid, Marines handing out food and water.  A Haitian man said "thank god for the U.S. marines here we now have a chance" Suprised the hell out of me the media showed showed someone praising an American Serviceman.
Every breath I take as a Free man was paid for with the blood of an American Soldier

News also showed a lot of Haitians working hard and volunteering in the cleanup. I still remember the news showing the New Orleans bunch laying on cots in the shelters while mostly older volunteers labored bringing in food and water to them. Lazy bunch. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

That is a better "mind" picture for sure. Down side is, its to bolster obama's ratings, if its by the "state run" media.

It is a sad day when an American President's PO spin docotors need to scrape the barrel by using Haiti's disaster to bolster his ratings because that is all they got.
What is the point of Life if you can't have fun.
