The closest I have is an A-Bolt Varmint in 204 Ruger. I put a 'light' Timney trigger spring in & mostly only used the gun on one dogging trip to SD. It worked fine. I have not really tested it out a bunch to give a proper accuracy report.

Thanks; I can say that this X-Bolt Varminter in 243 Win. is a real shooter! :) Here's a couple pics from the Fall Hunts.

I just picked one up this past saturday, was going to wait but got it for a song 750.00, just couldnt pass that up on a new rifle.

other than the barrel length, like mine a bit shorter, this rifle has everything I want in a calling rifle.  I just hope it shoots as good as it  handles.

One thing I love is, for having a heavier profile barrel, the gun feels lighter than it really is, the balance is very nice.

Cant wait to go shoot it, too much snow here and hard to get to range, most are closed or you just cant get there without a dogsled LOL

nice pics by the way, really nice buck and that coyote is a biggun!
