That doesn't sound right, I'd give em a call and confirm it, $68.90 and $32.85 is the last price I have, I'd expect it to go up a little, but not that much.  ;)

That's what I thought too. I asked her to double check it and she said that was the correct price. I'll call back and get a different person. I thought it was weird that every other price was something and change and the ones she gave were even money. I'll call again tomorrow

Just called them again and spoke with Alfredo. He stated stated that the stock and foreend were 79.00 and 35.00 respectively. He gave part numbers:
Stock FR02302 and Fore end FR01146 he stated these were for and ultra varm.
The other prices were for Part numbers:
Stock FR03898 and Fore end FR02332. I do not know the differences between the part numbers. Are these a thumbhole?

He either gave you the wrong numbers or they changed part numbers, their Oct 2008 parts lists shows FR02302 for the cinn lam checkered monte carlo stock and FR01146 for the matching forend.

The FR03898 is the cinn lam t-hole.

You're not adding to the confusion, misinfo from H&R has caused several members to receive the wrong stocks, I just don't like seeing our members getting frustrated due to Madison's incompetence.  :-\

I'm thinkin' that Reminington has taken aim at their own feet lately.  No reason for the ignorance of such a simple rifle.  There are only a few stock options.  If I ran the co. I would make customer serv. rep. learn their business, or send them down the road........If they can't keep Handi's straight, wonder how they do with all the other models?
