was at my shop this afternoon. he says "he can't hit the broadside of the river with it"
Hmmmmmm !.... i can see the fun already !!! ;D   i'll jus throw my favorite .460 handi load thru her
and see whats up. he has been shoot'n factory ammo with it only... ::)
so its a new project and i'll let the 45/120 rest for awhile. btw... its come'n long quite well
but it needs a rest, cus i'm get'n to much willies from it  ;D and my shoulder needs to get in better shape anaway. oh-well... fun is fun, long as its handi fun ;D

No, the only way to get there is to rechamber a 45 Colt BC carbine barrel.

  That was, well quick.

  They have a 500 no reason why they can't chamber a 460. 45 colt for plincking and 460 for bear and moose. Nice idea

bout all i had time for today was.... pry'n the forend off the barrel !!!!!! :o
broke out the dremel and modified the fit.  falls right off now :)  and holds
slightly with an o-ring with no screw installed.
  also noticed the latch (catch) has a poor seat after wipe'n off
cut'n gunk  ::)    tomorrow i will do a crown & trigger job on her and play with the latch seating
then its off to tha races... ;D  this might take me a day or 2, cus i ain't in no hurry. ;)

well this morn'n i was in the middle of doing the trigger job, and the owner showed up
with a brand new 45/70 stainless ultra-hunter with cin lam t/h stocks.
boy, thats a purdy thang !!!! :o

so he told me to stop the work on the .460...
and he wanted to trade me the barrel for one of the nikon scopes
i have NIB.

so, i did.  and now i have anudder .460, and the barrel needs a home badly.

i don't need it, cus i got to many of them critters in various firearms.

so its off to the classifieds wif it...... ;D
