I went to an auction yesterday. There was a 1950 Target in 44 special, the first I have seen for sale in some time. I bought it and paid quite a lot for it. I did not realize that it came with the original box, the box was not listed in the auction papers. The gun is 98%, numbered grips and the bright blue finish. I paid more then $1,000 for it. The serial number is written on the back of the box in wax pencil. One the end of the box, written in red pen is the price the gun sold for new, $84.70. It has been a very long time since I bought one of these, I have 1950 targets in 44 and 45, and this one is better then any I have. I might need to sell a 38-44 but this one is a keeper. Shotgunner
