Very well done and documented, Larry. I think it was a five star project (5X5). The prototype is always the worst, so you should really go into semi-production! I'll bet a lot of guys would go for a 25-20 or 32-20, 30 carbine, 32M, etc.
I'm please to see the accuracy, though I expected it to be good. If a guy wants to shoot bench groups that heavy 12ga. would be just the ticket for about a 10 barrel swap set.
BTW, a 'floating' spacer with the barrel hole a little off center would allow you to dial in the insert barrel for point of aim on a sight gun (no scope).
Now lets see, a dbl gun with two such inserts, dialed in for X distance.........
