How do I find year of manufacture?

I have an older Sako M591 that I would like to find out what year it was manufactured.  I dont want to have to buy some dealers book etc... just to find out.  Any ideas??? Any place on the internet that I could find out?

The best place would be at MSN groups they have a Sako collectors club there. Year of manufacture for Sakos is usually pretty tough to find on the web though. Somebody in that group could probably help you out or it might be in the archives.Alot of info on Sako and some on Tikka's. There is a interesting post under general topics that one of the members visted the Sako factory recently and explains some of the manufacturing process for Sako's and Tikka's.
