Check out the odds and ends section of the site. They have a bunch of H&R laminate stuff for sale. There have the mannlicher forearms too. The mannlichers probably won't last long. ;)

I assume with the mannlichers, you have to buy a forearm spacer, correct??  Is that a readily available item??

Just purchased a semi-fancy walnut stock and forearm from Gunstocks Inc and am currently still sanding and finishing.  Looks to be a good product if I don't run out of gas sanding.
Will post pics when done.  Beautiful wood.  Am using a Tru-oil finish.

I made a mannlicher but can:t bring myself to put it on anything. It's been a painstaking process getting each rifle to shoot well, and a lot of that is forend work.

I just can't see putting something on that's twice as long and twice the trouble to shoot properly, just because it's pretty.

It makes more sense to lop off all the forearm forward of the stud.

My handi shoots good without doing anything to the forend. Is that a common problem?

Yep! Everything on the Handi can be tightened and bedded but the forend takes Voodoo. Some are fine as is, some respond to spacers, some respond to RTV, some just won't cooperate at all.
