Yep, the new debt ceiling is 12.4 trillion.  In a few months it will have to be raised again:  And so it goes.

The Senate voted Thursday to raise the ceiling on the government debt to $12.4 trillion, a massive increase over the current limit and a political problem that President Barack Obama has promised to address next year

Well, they (Congress) can raise the debt ceiling all they want, but at some point and we may already be there, who is going to buy into that debt?  I think the Chinese are saying that there isn't enough money in the whole world to pay for the spending that this Congress is doing.

It's interesting that the Dumbycrats get very concerned that we are only 5 per cent of the world's population, yet use over 25 % of the worlds energy, but it doesn't bother them at all that we're spending who knows what per cent of the world's money.

Alice falling into the rabbit hole, which is really the debt hole that congress has dug. Up is now down, and down is up. The wizard of OZ now lives in Hawaii, and we have a cardboard box under the subway. Toto has been BBQ'd. jose illegal just moved into your house....and is raising poppies in your back yard.
