WHAT IS THIS?????

I HAVE RECENTLY INHERITED A BOLT ACTION RIFLE THAT SEEMS REALLY OLD IT HAS THE SERIAL #QL4838 ON THE SIDE IT SEEMS TO TAKE A CLIP FROM THE BOTTOM BUT I DONT HAVE IT I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME

Red, Look for such things as Manufacturer, Model number, caliber, and any other markings.
