United Sporting Arms 357 max Seville
« on: December 23, 2009, 01:27:21 PM »
I just recently got this and its growing on me FAST
I am looking forward to making it my Hog gun
Still hanging on too the TC's but after I got the Smith 357
I got the wheel gun fever,I have decided that this
will be mine for a Good amount of time,If I get out the wrinkles
I did the check up and its tight and firing pin looks good
Timing seems on ?
Problem with it ??
When I play with Pulling the hammer pulling the trigger
(I let the hammer down not drop)
The gun rolls so sweet I can't explain it
Kind of the whole Piece becomes a work of art( you who own, nice ones Know)
Its not Like a Clunk of any kind, just a roll or like a bead of Oil Slowly bounces
on water just a soft sweet Motion.OK  enough of this
When I pick up the Pace of Pull the Hammer Pull the trigger I may get 10 maybe 15 ,or 3 >:(
good tries (firing's) then I get the BAD news LOCK UP or OFF time the Cylinder is not in position
stops the Trigger from pulling ( I say safety) as nothing is in Line
When I do the Pull the Hammer Pull the trigger at a normal speed
The gun function's beautiful
SO my quick Common sense thought is the cylinder is rolling so smooth ,turning so good it misses the Lock up thats just common sense and that won't help me Here
One thought is the Locking Bolt Spring needs to be Stronger to Catch the run away Cylinder
Or is it the Paw /Hand that should slow this down the cylinder so the lock bolt can catch
I'll edit and repair later,  I had the whole thing done and the Post Poofed into cyber this is the second try

Thanks
Tommyt

You need to go to the Single Actions forum for info on those things.... There are detailed articles linked on the home page.  Many Seville owners/fans there as forum members.  Forum owner, Lee Martin, is as good as they get and a REAL Seville nut...
