I know of 2 -750's (talking to folks at the range) that were problematic and replaced by Remington. The replacements are OK although one took a return trip to Remington to get it right. One local dealer refuses to stock them because he got sick of dealing with the problems. I know this because I wanted one but am steering clear. My good friend got a 35 Whelan this past summer and it is giving him enough problems that he left it home all season and plans to sort it out over the winter. He now has 3 magazines all new that won't feed if he loads more than 2 in them.
On the positive side, an acquaintance from the range is getting some fantastic groups (under .5 inch) at 100yds out of his 35 Whelan BUT he is loading it down to 2300-2400 fps with 200 grain bullets to get it to cycle well. He is the guy that has 1 replacement and the current gun fixed after the 1st box through it.
Hope if get it, it's a good one...
