Stevens 200 magazine, What the ?

There must be an easy way to get a round in the Stevens 200 center feed magazine. Yes it feeds perfectly but is ther an easy way to get rounds in the magazine?

Well I had to take some pliers to the feed lips and that was it. Didn't expect to have to do this to a brand new rifle. Not so bad afterall.

the two i had were a tight fit too but i figured they would loosen with time and use.

no big deal.

i keep lookin at the stevens and wanting to get another one. they shoot so well for so little money but they aren't anything special in the looks department so when i want a new gun they end up being what gets sold for the new one.
