1st browning ever

bought my 1st browning ever, owned a bunch of guns but never a browning ,   this is the bar mark ll safari with a muzzle brake in 30-06 has a leupold  vari x lll  1.5 x 5 x 20   all looks like new   ,  always liked single shots and bolt guns but could not pass this one up .
  whats the general opinion on these rifles ????       any input will be great .      FBC

My opinion's pretty good, considering I took a 250lb whitetail in Maine with one, in the 1980's.

It wore a Williams WGRS peep sight at the time, though.   :-[    ;D

Mine's stamped "Made in Belgium - Assembled in Portugal"  ::)

Hey FBC, I'm sure you will really like your new rifle. My dad hunts with a MK-II liteweight in 30-06 and I have a MK-II Safari in the same chambering. Both of our guns have never hiccuped and they consistantly shoot under 1.5 MOA.
