filler screws for barrel

don't know if that is correct name.
The screws that are in the barrel before the scope ramp is installed,
what size, how long? ??? guess i can get them at hardware

They are 6-48 NS and you cannot get them at a hardware store.  Larry

I got some direct from H&R, at no charge, BUT that was before they "moved" from Gardner... :'(

I would also be willing to send them to you, BUT why not try a trip to your local gun store? many have at least one box of screws likely many of these "plug screws" inside!!
