Good scope for T/C 209/50Ml

What is a Good scope for a T/C Encore 209/50 ML in SS or Matte finish that Won't Break the Bank?

I have a 2 1/2 X Leupold on mine. Nice and lite and gives you all the magnifaction you need, plus fast acuaction of target. I killed a deer at 289 lazered yards with mine. Would not have shot at that range but the deer had already been hit.

I use a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5X5.  They aren't cheap but they are fine scopes, compact, and light.

Ebay is a good place to find a used one.  Leupold has a lifetime warranty.

I used Warne QD rings for hunts where scopes aren't allowed.

I use a 4-12X40 simmons pro-hunter. And It works great on my encore using a 250gr. sst and 125gr. of 777!! It don't cost much and I can shoot 1 1/4" groups at 100yds.!! I've shot several deer with it this year and I have more to go!!!

    In past seasons I've used low fixed power scopes on my Encore muzzy, but a couple of years ago I switched to a 3 x 9 Nikon Monarch with the BDC thingie.  I haven't really pursued the BDC part much yet but with the range the Encore provides, I plan to.  Nikon scopes are total new to me.  Also just got a 3 x 9 Nikon pistol scope.  So far I'm right impressed with both.  :) Walt

When I purchased my Encore 209x50, it was a no brainer.  I toppped it with a TC 1.5 - 5 power scope made specifically for the muzzle loader.  Attached it with a set of quick release rings and base and absolutely love it.  It has been nearly ten years since I started using it and it has never failed me once.  Good luck.
