value of g2

I have a g2 contender with a 45caliber muzzleloader leopould scope base and rings  really fancy wood would like to know the value of this gun if i was going to sell it my daughter needs a new rifle and i was thinking about getting rid of this to buy her something thanks guys ;D

I suggest going to Gunbroker.com and checking what they are selling for.

Another option would be trade the M.L. barrel for a 30-30, 6.8, etc.  barrel and keeping the G2 for your daughter.

I agree with David on this. Trade or sell the barrel and get a barrel that works for your daughter.
  My daughter started deer hunting at age 11 and she was a small 11.I set up my G2 with a youth stock and a super 16 bbl in 223. Nice small carbine,lightweight,easy to carry and shoot for a small girl...she had a blast and never once missed a deer she shot at!!

Good advice, sell or keep the barrel and get a rifle barrel 7x30 waters light recoil or a 30-30 or the 6.8 all great rounds.
Finished our special doe season today using my G2 7x30 waters 30 yrds out dropped in tracks went clean through.
I also have a 45x209 barrel for the G2 and it is fun to shoot.
