.22 Match Barrel, or no?

A while back, I purchased a used Contender with a high polish blue, 10" .22 barrel, marked .22 LR.
If it were a match barrel, would it be so marked, i.e. ".22 LR Match"?
BTW, the high polish blue is beautiful.

If it were a match barrel it would be written on the barrel, along with the cal.

You can only hit the target if the barrel is pointed in the right direction when the bullet leaves the barrel.

 Try lots of different 22 ammo to see what works.

I'd rather not have the match and be able to shoot stingers and other hyper velocity stuff.

Is the Match barrel better than the .22lr?  I understand the difference in the chambers but is there really a noticeable difference.

     I've had both.  In general I found match barrels better with low power ammo and standard barrels better with hi-power stuff.  Both shot Good!  Either would generally out shoot most of my other 22's.  :D
