Have you got a winter trip planned?
« on: October 23, 2003, 03:14:25 AM »
We usually spend at least a week in Florida during January or February, but this year, it looks like work my interfere.  4 letter word I know, but things are changing with the business, and we may have to work through this year. Does anyone go to one of the Texas lakes, maybe Mexico?

Skipper,

I can't help you with TX or Mexico but I thought the ulimate winter fishing trip would be to Venezuela for peacock bass.  Those swimming critters look mighty impressive and I understand strike like lightning.

Blessings!

They've got Peacocks in several of the canals in South Florida.  If I'm not mistaken, some of them that are connected to the Big O.

YES as soon as the ice is 10"!!!!!!!!!                 BigBill

I've been on 3" of ice and its not to good watching the water go up and down in the hole as the ice flexes??  The safe boating commerical sure rings the right bell so may boaters and fisherman are pulled out with one of these(grapple) not me.
