We were near Kaycee. The gun is a Encore with a Bullberry 260 Rem. barrel. I used a handload with a 129 SST bullet. The antelope was almost facing me. Laser rangefinder measured 435 yards. One shot, the antelope ran about 45 yards and died.

Nice shot! I was near Kaycee last month doing some trout fishing in the gorge. Nice area. That little bar/restaurant in town is a nice one. I was staying at the gas station/motel on the west side of the interstate.  

My pronghorn story is below in this forum. Subject is "questor's first pronghorn", or something like that.

How do you like that 260? I've been thinking of it as a caliber for my kids to shoot when they get a deer rifle.
