Does anyone know if you can convert a DM Mountain Rifle to a floorplate?

700 actions with Detachable Magazine do not have feed rails.

The stocks may swap out but an action with a detachable mag will not feed with a follower and hinged floorplate.

Thanks, just checking my options. I've had my Mountain Rifle for 6 years and I've grown to dislike the detachable magazine and its inherent noise and wiggle.

I had a 700 mountain rifle in a 30-06 with a DM. I traded it for a 700 sps in 7-08 without DM. Sometimes the SPS is difficult to load as the bullets jam up. It took me a year to figure out this quirk. Actually I liked the DM better.

I don't think I could ever get rid of it, 7 shots, 6 deer over the past few years.........I just don't like the wiggle with the DM.......
