If the 444 has a laminated stock, it's likely one of the originals that has the 1:38" twist, that's not a bad price with lams, but I'd consider when is was made if I wanted accessory barrels fitted. The 44mag/12ga combo is likely an SB1, Bud's last price was $287 shipped.

That's the price they have on em here in Billings MT.  I got mine over a year ago and it shoots great, so far with only 265 gr Hornady bullets run through it.  Now that huntin' season is over here, need to get off my duff and try some cast bullets in it.  DP
