Marlin MR-7??

Anybody ever messed with one. I just got one in 270, and it seems like a fine rifle. Anybody know of any synthetic stocks for it? Thanks. DM

Got one in .30-06.  Bought it new for $299.  Shoots and handles great, especially considering the price.  I don't know about any drop in stocks.  I don't shoot it much since I got a Sako '06, but I am considering a rebarrel to .338-06.
Regards,

Tom

I recall that they brought elements from various other rifles into the MR-7----like a Winchester safety and/or bolt----Remington action-----and the magazine system of a Browning.

Maybe they decided to copy the contours of one of those actions exactly---I would give Bell and Carlson or Boyds a call and see what they have to say.

I might take it to Cabelas and try some of the different stocks to see. Good ideas, Thanks. DM
