i lived near shellsburg and corn was coming out of the fields like mad!!!

Since I am the moderator and I do live in Iowa, I really should respond to this.  I live south of Mason City and the corn harvest is coming out great, many farmers averagin 180-200 bushels/acre, though the test weights are coming in a little low, they're still happy.
