Can anyone help me find this rifle in Canada

I am trying to get my hands on a Tikka WH in stainless/synthetic .308, but am comming up short.  Missed one at wholesale sports by a day.  Wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of one...aka local gun shops, etc.   If you do, could you please forward me the details via email, I would truly appreciate it.  Thank you.

Have you tried russellsports.com in Calgary? The only S/S wht Tikka I've seen around here is a 6.5x55.

GO FOR THE 6.5X55

The  6.5X55 should handle just about any critter I know of in Canada, except maybe old Grizzly. It is the prime moose round in Sweden. Super accurate, reasonable recoil, flat shooting.  Don't let the paper ballistics fool you. Thousands of Buffs and Elephants have fallen to 6.5 projectiles at similar velocity. It has to do with sectional density.

As I stated, I am interested in .308.  Yes I know that the 6.5 is a good gun, but I hunt with a 30-06 (the best in my opinion for my hunting), so another .30 caliber gun would only make sense (same bullets, etc).  This rifle is for a gift, and she especially likes the .308 for its limited kick and it is what she uses at work.

What it comes down to is personal preference.  I prefer the .308 over the 6.5 simply because it is what I am familiar with and the ease of ammunition and reloading equipment in my town.
