I would say that over 90% of the time when I buy a barrel it won't fit any of my frames.

That is really bad luck.  I think that is not the norm.  You  can justify getting some new frame though.  ;)

More frames increase the chances of a fit or little fitting if needed.  ;)

Wow that is unlucky.  My luck is the other way.  I only have 2 frames, an SB1 and an SB2.  Ive boughten 5 barrels and only 2 needed any fitting.  My newly bought 357 barrel had to go on my SB1 though.

That would be frustrating!    >:(

Like deadrabbit, most of mine have fit.   While I've only had 3 extra barrels, 2 fit perfectly.
