Economic and firearms notes from Guitar World magazine
« on: November 02, 2009, 05:39:29 AM »
There was an interview with the Lynrd Skynrd band (yes, they're still around even though only one original member remains) in this month's Guitar World magazine.

There were a few comments relevant to this forum:
1) One of the band members says about taxes "we work our [bottoms] off...I'm really upset that we're paying for every program from A to Z."

2) "Handguns were made for killing and nobody really needs one, but a shotgun to protect your family with, that's different".

3) "I'm not as right wing as Ted Nugent...I don't go into the woods and kill everything in sight."

This is in promotion of their new God and Guns album.
