A rather upsetting thing happened to me today. I went to my gun dealer's place to pickup a gun and he told me that he had been inspected by the ATF yesterday. When the ATF went thru his books, they noticed that I had purchased six guns in a two month period. The ATF agent asked the dealer whether he knew me, where I lived, what I was doing with all the guns. They even made a copy of one of my gun registration forms before the agent left. That was weird.
Has this happened to anyone before??? Is what they did legal??? Can they come to my home and inventory my rather small collection of guns??? What can they do with my information???
