Reloading slugs

I am thinking about reloading some slugs for a rifled shotgun. Lee and lyman made slug molds that can be loaded into standard hulls using a wad as the sabot with a star crimp. Has anyone tried this and how did it work.

I have not done it but I know there allot of guys who have had luck with the lymans. Go to the shotgun World website forum and well as the ASSA webiste forum.

The Lyman's are easy to load and are very accurate. The Lee's shot so poor that I melted them back into wheel wieghts.
