Remington 30.06 reduced recoil in M700. What do you think about the recoil and accuracy @ 75 yds?

Good enough to generally put meat on the table.  One thing to consider though if shooting past that is that due to a loss in velocity in order to generate less recoil you can generall figure that your bullet will expand a bit less.  But at 75yds there shouldn't be any issues.

Ever thought about handloading?  I have a great 168gr Nosler C.C. load at 41.7gr Benchmark for my .308, and a .6 MOA reduced load at 33.3gr of Benchmark for the same bullet.  My POI is dead on at 100yds for that load with my 200yd dope.  It was probably the luckiest guess/best outcome I've ever made/had at handloading.  Although, I'd probably not try hunting with the Nosler C.C. unless I was sticking to lung shots (I'll never hunt with that bullet anyways).

Good luck to you.

If you are asking about the factory stuff, they are good to 200 yards on deer sized critters. That load uses a light fragile bullet to make it work properly.

If you are dealing with a 30 cal firearm  you can get very effective expansion by using bullets designed for the 30-30 or try 150 gr. RN's

Good solid advice there.  Personally I'd go with Hornady A-Max or Nosler BT as they expand rather well at lower velocities.

My Boy was using the Rem. 308 reduced recoil loads last year when a bunch of deer came down off the top of the hill and on to the bench in front of us. The gun was a Rem. 600 with a 4x leupold scope sighted in 1 1/2 inches high at 100 yrds. He took the shot aiming about 3 inches higher than normal. He put the bullet in the heart and droped a doe in her tracks at 300 yrds. The 30-06 uses the same bullet so I say YES!
BTW That was on Brians 13th birthday, that boy can shoot! ;D

Another though. In the past, I had a friend that hand loaded for me. He got me away from the shoulder busting 180 grain bullets and into the 130's. I have shot a lot of deer with a lot of different 130 grain bullets form 15 to 400 yards and have never had to track any of them more that 30 yards if at all. Most went down in their tracks.
