H&R Serial Numbers
« on: September 25, 2009, 04:47:21 AM »
Greetings all.. this is my first post on this board, so please bear with me.  While I'm no stranger to H&R in their various forms( Cut my teeth on a model 58 topper in 12 gauge  :) ) and I own a handi in .243 and an ultra in 25-06, I seem to remember seeing a reference somewhere to serial numbers and year of manufacture. Of course, it is also entirely possible that I'm having a "senior" moment as well.. Has any one else heard of this ??  Thanks in advance!

Welcome, spend some time reading in the FAQs and Help sticky, it's in there as is just about everything else you can imagine and a lot more.  ;)
