need to "blood" my gun
« on: September 18, 2009, 03:47:37 PM »
After 5 years I finally drew a buck antelope license.  My first choice will be my .25-06 Ultra, which shoots OK.  I used a .243 last time, this gun went to my brother, so my new twin for it will be the extra taken along.  My brother will probably use the other .243 for his doe tag.  I am considering taking a 94 or 99 with peep sights on the off chance I will get a close shot, they also need blooded, at least by me.  Is it allowed to mention that there are other guns I also want to use?  LOL  Actually, a friend used the 25 2 years ago, so I know it does the job.  The other "consideration" is to take a muzzle loader, but almost always these trips are one day and one shot.  Given more Handi's I would need even more licenses and time.
just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not watching you
