Skunk. DId you see the Miami-Flordia St game, talking of cheerleaders I fell in love and told the wife I was moving to Flordia.  All she said was "I'll help you pack and get your cane for you."

For me it's the Clemson Tigers, I graduated there many moons ago and have always been a fan.  Even during the rotten years, I have remained loyal.  The team I love to hate has got to be: Georgia and South Carolina......There is just too much rivalry to be nice.

I actually have the same choices as you (well, I have nothing against Georgia ).  As a Clemson Alumni (Class of '03) I have to support my Alma Mater .  Truthfully though, despite cheering the Tigers in any game where they come up against each other, I don't mind USC either .  My brother went there for a while and it's a good school too.

That was indeed an excellent game Stimpy. I watched every play. It's no easy feat for any road team (even USC) to trot into the fully packed Horseshoe and beat the Buckeyes. USC is looking good this year. On the same note, I don't think we've seen the last of Ohio State for the season. The Badgers will be coming to town on October 10. If you still have the urge to root against Ohio State, please do it to the fullest on that day.

Living in Ohio, like Stimpy, you'ld think I would like OSU. Or living right next to the Michigan line,U of M. Or, my wife having graduated from Bowling Green State Univ. it might be there. Wrong on all accounts. Maybe 50 years ago. College football isn't much different than pro. Bunch of drugged up,overpaid,pampered monkeys I've ever seen. Half the team is lucky to have an IQ of over 100. College professors bend over backwards,(or forwards in Ca.), to accommodate the players. Been several instances here in Ohio where football players were arrested for drugs,armed robbery,rape, while still on the team. Or within a year of ''graduating'', but because they didn't make it to the pro's, their back to street life. Guess that means I hate all of them. gypsyman

tho' i live in southwest va. i despise the much revered va. tech chokies. all their "fans" are a bunch of bandwagon jumper-onners. go w.va. mountaineers. tech left the big east so they wouldn't hafta play us anymore.

Texas Tech and Texas. Makes it kind of hard to decide who to cheer for when they play each other. I don't hate any team but it wouldn't bother me a bit if Oklahoma never won another game. 

I too like Texas and Texas Tech.  Started at Texas (Majoring in beautiful girl watching instead of taking advantage of the World class business school).  Since a degree in GW didn't pay well, I joined the Army, grew up a little, and finished at Texas Tech.

I pull for all the old SWC schools, except Ark.  Oklahoma doesn't bother me much, considering that their team is mostly Texas High School standouts.

Ok Stimpy, you promised. Today is the big day. This will be Wisconsin's (4-0) first game against a highly ranked team. It's being played at the Horseshoe in Columbus. Ohio State is 4-1, and is ranked #9 in the Country. Wisconsin is ranked close to #25 in the Country. So Stimpy, be cheering for Wisconsin. I think the Badgers can take the Buckeyes, but I doubt anyone else agrees with me.

By the way, I'm feeling bad for you Auburn fans out there. The Hogs are punching Auburn's lights out right at the moment.
