The news papers are calling the outburst "unprecedented". Not true. There have been fist fights right on the floor in congress. A couple of guys were actually beating each other with canes.

Wilson has, according to the papers, been a moderate on this issue, working for a bipartisan approach to reform.

Wilson got mad not because he is a patriot, but because "THE NEW LINCOLN" started his speach by calling everyone in Congress whom disagreed with him a liar. Wilson just didn't like being called what he also is. A liar. Check his voting record.

I'm older than dirt, so I thought it was a bit rude. Kind of like watching the action in the House of Lords/Commons in England. Point is though, Wilson was right. A lie is a lie, period.
Truth is, illegals will still be treated in ER's and they won't pay into the system. Heck, most don't even file tax returns. The IRS is the enforcer. This is nothing but FORCED health care. Hillary got her way on this. This is her reward for stepping aside in the election.

He apologized to prevent censure, I think he should have accepted the censure.

The media has already started his political assignation, they are reporting how his outburst has given his opponet a big jump in the polls and in monetary donations for the election campaign.

You bring up an interesting point in regards to tax returns Hermit. I too am an old fart, but addressed the issue numerous times in discussion why the Republicans and Democrats WON'T take a stand AGAINST illegal immigration. MOST, have a fake S.S#, and this I PERSONALLY KNOW FOR A FACT. I once stopped five illegals and they all had S.S#s, and "THEY ALL HAD THE SAME NUMBER"! I had stopped them just after they had picked them up and in their stupidity they handed them over for i.d.
Now my point. With the fake S.S.# the employer WITHHOLDS TAXES, on earnings that will never be filed on for tax refunds on low income labor. SO! The politicians have more money NEVER CLAIMED on tax returns to squander.

Dee you got that right and not many understand the millions it brings in .
We had a man working with us who had all the correct ID . then we found out he wasn't legal so he went to a lawyer and ask if i would go with him . I did , the lawyer was an EX fed proscuter . He looked at the DL , green card and SS card . He told the boy where he got them ( city ) , who made them and what they cost . he knew where he entered from where he got cards .
For $5000.00 he would take the case . But the man could not work for me anymore until he got legal. I called INS and was told the guy could not work for me since i knew . I ask what he could do and was told he could work for someone who did not know .

They lack anything resembling a back bone. Wilson maybe should have apologized for the interruption , but not for speaking the truth.
The scum in the white house and his ilk have been insulting the American people on a daily basis. We have scumbag talking down to us slobbering Barney calling us loons the wicked witch of the west Pelosi calling us terrorists. We should demand an apology.

What we "SHOULD" do is, not vote for any of them ........PERIOD! SOCIALIST or FASCIST.
We know they are ALL lairs , so voting for them just makes us a bunch of damn FOOLS.

I'll admit when I saw that it irked me, badly. Personally, I think Wilson's comment, though probably accurate, was just a case of "not the place or the time for it". We need to remain civil.

However, to claim that it is racist is just reaching, badly. Poor taste or not, there was nothing racist about Wilson's comment. I'm sure if Biden had been saying giving the same speech the same comment would have been shouted.
