Talley Peep Sight question
« on: September 06, 2009, 02:21:43 AM »
I know this is really not Handi related but this Forum has more info than most.... ::)

Does any one have a picture of the Talley peep sight?  I have looked all over the Web and can't find a pic. :(

Picked up a used 1894 Marlin (.45 Colt) at the Augusta Gun show last weekend and would like to add a peep sight to it.
Talley makes very good scope mounts/ bases and rings, and I have a set of Marlin bases.
The Talley peep sight mounts on one base and the price is about $69.

They show a pic of it on their peep page, you have to click the pic to view it, they list an NEF base for it too to keep this on topic.  ;)

NICE RIFLE!!

I didn't know that was offered!!  I have its mate in Blue/Walnut also 45 COLT!!  GREAT little carbine.

Thanks CW,  I really like this little rifle.  I had a bad moment and traded a 98% Browning B 92/.44 mag For this.... But i found out after the trade that the Marlin is a "LTD, 1 of 251 produced". :o
The stainless steel, scope possibility, and far better .45 Colt cartridge sold me.
Also at the gun show a 80% condition Handi Hornet came home with me for $100. ::)
