Baaad 44 mag UPDATE!
« on: September 05, 2009, 05:39:40 PM »
My buddy gave his son the 44 mag sb2 w/sights today for his 16th birthday. I'm not sure which one was more excited. My buddy asked me today about scoping it. I said remember it's your sons not yours. I'm pretty sure he will not spend the money for top quality scope. I told him you had to have one to withstand the recoil and be able to mount so hammer won't hit it. I think he is ordering the rail and spur soon. They are looking at the barrel order form for the next barrel. What have I done?

I agree, you did do the right thing.   ;)
When an Army captain asked him for the direction of the line of retreat, Col Puller called his Tank Commander, gave them the Army position, and ordered: "If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them."
Turning to the captain, he replied "Does that answer your question?
We're here to fight."

Yes, good thing there!  Our friend has to remember that when he is speaking of his 'son', that usually means he is younger than the rest of us.  That means his 'son' may not need a scope as he still has 'young eyes' and doesn't yet need one.  'Old eye's' 44 Man
