Handi Rifle in .223
« on: August 31, 2009, 11:09:23 AM »
I just got off the phone with Handi Rifle, I asked what twist the rifles in .223 have & was told it's 1:9"  The Tech I talked with suggested bullets of 55 - 65grs weight. Maybe this will help someone select a bullet for best accuracy.

My 223 Handi loves PMC 55 grain-fmj loads.  I also get very good accuracy with Remington 55 grain jhp.   ;D

Im shooting 60gr HPs through my 1x9 twist pretty well.  As a matter of fact if it wasnt a 55gr or a 60gr bullet, it wouldnt group at all.
It's all a hot mess...........
