7-08 load data
« on: August 28, 2009, 11:26:28 AM »
Ok, I just got my 7-08 Whitetail Unlimited Handi.  I also received some new Rem 140 gr accupoint bullets, Nosler 120 gr BT, Sierra 140 Gameking SP, Nosler 140 partitions, and a bunch of 150 gr Rem corelocks.  At the moment I only have H414, AA2015, and H4895 powder.  Seems the H414 is the most suitable for loading, but I'm sure I'll need to buy some others.  Any favorite loads out there for the 7-08.  Oh!  I also received a box of Remington factory load in 140 trophy bonded and Rem 140 sp.  I am the kind of guy who likes to have ONE bullet and ONE load and go hunting.  Suggestions?  44 Man

My favorite load in my 1984 Ruger 77 was H335 powder, CCI LR primer and a 140Gr Nosler SolidBase bullet.

H 414 will work fine, any of the 4350's are a good choice for the heavy bullets, 140 and up, as is R 19.  DP
