Well, did the CT.
It is just below the kidney's.
Doc thinks he can do the stint.
Go for a arteorgram Tuesday.
It could, possibly, change the procedure.
Surgery will be within two weeks of the gram---need time to recupe from it.
I will be awake when the stints are done------I am REAL excited to get that news.
All is fine and spirits are good.

I agree with ATLAW. Tell ya a true story. Next month will be 6 years since I had 5 bypasses. Scheduled for 1130 am, doc changed it to 730 am. Next morning doc says, hope bumping it up isn't a problem for you, I said, matter of fact, it is. I said, this takes about 4 hours, right?? He says, yes, give or take a bit, why??? I said, my church will be praying for me at 1130. By then I'll either be in recovery, or the morgue. He grinned and said, we'll try not to let that happen. Somewhere around 1130 they closed me back up and gave me a shot of blood thinner, stopped my heart dead. They were about to give up trying to revive me when my heart kicked in strongly. As long as I knew my church would be praying for me, I wasn't worried even a little bit. Under the circumstances, I went into surgery scared. When I woke up in recovery my first thought was, thank you Lord, I'm alive, then I felt shame, thinking, why did I doubt?? Point is, those prayers were right on time, God knew all along what he was doing. POWDERMAN.

Good luck to ya WILLIAM!

The stints are no big deal, I have 7 of them.
Kind of neat watching on the big over head screan as they put them in.
Make sure they test for any tears after they are in before they close.
Out of the 7, I had 1, but it was an easy fix!

Of course our prayers will be with you & yours for a safe and speedy recovery.
You will be back at full steam in no time.

Prayers are what it is all about.
There is another thread going on here, this AM, about loosing someone close.
Here is the long and short of it from my perspective.
I am a child of God, Saved by His Grace thru nothing of me. I am scum according too the Law. I am declared Rightous and a Son by God Hisownself.
Too be dead is to be alive in the Lord. No more cares of this old world.
I believe that the operation will be successful but I WILL die at some point and I am prepared for that---strange as it may seem too some, I actually look forward too that moment.
If I pass pray for my family---When I live give praise too the one who is God and creator of all---Christ Jesus.
I have instructions for a pine box and a plot in the old cemetary in Livingston, Texas. IT would be more suitable too just throw me in a bar ditch by the side of the road---at least in death I will be food for the animals.
Stick a hand in a bucket of water boys, and, pull it out and look for the hole you left.

When I talk to our creator I will ask for his guidance in your procedure.

Twenty years ago I had a triple by-pass, I haven’t had any problems since, but it did change my life dramatically. I started watching what I ate, quit smoking and rarely ever have a drink of hard liquor. A friend who had his by-pass three weeks prior to mine went back in two weeks ago for a quadruple by-pass, he was up and about three days later and is now out walking 30-45 minutes three times a day. When dealing with the heart it is always risky but there have been so many innovations made over the past few years that it is becoming commonplace, technology is better and the recover rate is very high.

I am praying for good luck with the stint and hope that is as far as they have to go, blessings!

Nothing about this thread is cacaphony except your meaningless, and usual, attempt at dramatics.
You may present yourself as serious, and I took the whole of the thread seriously, but you usually just end up being disruptive.
I really don't know what your problem is but I find it offensive too a degree that is really disruptive.

Well battle plans do change in a heartbeat.
Went to have it scoped and ended up having a stint put in the artery of the Kindey. that required an overnight stay.
I go back to the Dr. next week and do the rest of the stint on the Aeorta scheduled then. That is a two day stay.
First night in ICU and second for further observation.
