There was a "mercy killing" here recently that made the news. A muslim woman made the mistake of talking to an "infidel" ( a co-worker) her jealous p.o.s. sorry excuse of a man husband went to her work and beheaded her in her office!

And the sad fact is, we allow this treatment of women here to continue.

I guess it's OK for others to get all righteous about condemning Muslims while ignoring the U.S. porno industry and maybe even their own involvement in it, or is it?   Debasement and exploitation of women is wrong whether done by Muslims or Christians or anybody else.

You know, I watch about 15 minutes of TV a week, if that. I don't get my ideas from the TV or from ol' Rush either.

Big difference in comparing US crimes and the porn industry to the treatment of women in islam.

One - crimes are committed by CRIMINALS.  Criminals by definition operate OUTSIDE of the law.
Two - the porn industry may debase and exploit women but many of those women made the choice to enter that industry.  They signed the contract.  They are committing voluntary acts.  Sure some porn is created by illegal institutions that are engaged in slave or slave-like situations.  Again... those institutions are operating OUTSIDE of the law.

Three - Under islam, the treatment of women as property is sanctioned by the church, the leaders of the church and the national government in many cases.  Many of these acts are committed by the legal enforcers of the law in those countries.  They are not CRIMINALS but rather the enforcers of governmental and religiously sanctioned evil against members of society that in many cases have no recourse.

Now if you want to compare crime to crime go ahead.  No one is suggesting that there isn't crime in the US that needs to be taken care of.

It is not very much like you picture it. In Islam many little girls are married before they are weaned, and the husband is an impatient man.
As far as us (America) staying out of everyone else's business (other countries), I am certainly for that however.

If you read my original post in this thread, you'll see I don't approve of muslim atrocities.  I know about the fall of Constantinople and the Hagia Sophia, the Battle of Lepanto, the siege of Vienna, the attacks on Europe and the muslim slave-trade in European men and women, the modern-day invasion of Europe by muslim hordes, the Albanian terror in Kosovo, the Spanish reconquista, I've read Oriana Fallaci's book 'THE RAGE AND THE PRIDE' ...I've done my homework!
But I'm saying also, we have some serious house cleaning to do right here at home, in our Republic. 
It's just too easy to pick something the muslims do and condemn it - they're just such easy targets! It's harder, but necessary, to look at our own failings.
So, like I said, save some of that anger and continue to use it to address some of the problems here!
