Some time ago.
Just sitting here dreaming, contemplating how to reload all these
empty cases I need for gopher shooting and deer hunting. Not to mention 20g field loads for pheasants. Thinking hard how to rejuvenate that Ruger#1 243 I had rebored to 6.5-284.
All these projects takes so much time and thinking while sitting in my lazy boy chair looking out the window seeing it blowing snow, that is at the end of April. That was also some time ago.
Since there is no heat in my work shop, I have a good excuse not to spend a lot of time there. Even though all I need to do is to leave the door open, but that is against the law if there are guns and ammo in the room. With all these different projects tools get moved around and can’t be found when you need them.
Also there is a hitch in reloading ammo since components are not available they have been all bought up because of Obama who does not like guns. He promised a change, beating up on gun owners is one of them.
My thoughts are back in Arizona and the warm sun shine, heated swimming pool and cool lemonade and no projects. Though I had to repair a borrowed shotgun I used for skeet shooting. The stock bolt came loose and cracked the pistol grip on a light weight Franchi 20 Auto. Next winter I wont have a 20g available.
Life of old folks can be a pain in many ways, whatever ails must be brushed aside and not fretted on to any further extend if that is at all possible. At my age one has less and less time to do things because most of the time is used up dreaming, planning and wishful thinking.
Talking your 3 mile walk every day becomes just a battle of wills and seems to accomplish nothing but sore legs. On certain days the neighbor widow who is watching every thing that goes on, ask why I did not go walking today? I say I was too tired from doing nothing.
So who needs a Handi tuner job? Not me. My two Handi's need constant attention whenever I use them, they simply don't like to be user friendly.
